Moda Black continues to bring forward amazing new talent, this time in the form of Scottish duo Mia Dora.
Comprising of a whiskey fuelled studio guru and renowned Glaswegian party starter, Mia Dora first grabbed our attention with their impressive remix of Roots Manuva's Get The Get, earlier this year. Not ones to miss a trick, we quickly tracked them down and started to plan something special.
The appetiser came in the form of their 808 techno monster Jailbate on the Moda Black compilation, which promptly made its way into the sets of DJ's such as Eats Everything and Maya Jane Coles. Now it's time for the main course...
The EP starts with two equally powerful cuts of sub-sonic, groove-powered house, featuring their very own step-by-step guide to a night out in Glasgow. Head to the flip and things become slightly more abstract; from the bleak strings of Half A Devil to the dismantled rave of Mantis.
